Rising Tech Entrepreneur Kohen Grogan began his entrepreneurial journey from humble beginnings as a garage start-up some 10 years ago with just $2,000 to his name and the mission to solve ROI in social media with technology.
Over the years the company has licensed its software as well as worked with clients to think different and find better solutions with social at its core. Some notable brands include national and international heavy weights such as Pandora Internet Radio, Newscorp, Thermomix, the NRMA, RAC and Virgin to name a few.
His company’s success has won him a lot of attention. At just 27 years of age he was named a Business News 40under40 winner, has been named a rising Australian Tech Star to watch by Virgin Vouyer inflight magazine and was runner up National Rising Star in the CSC of Australia 30under30 Awards.
Kohen is also the creator of a world first Facebook app named one of five social impact apps changing the world by Business Insider.
Two of his idols Sir Richard Branson and Steve Wozniak of Apple judged his business in the top 5 digital businesses in the APAC region in the Talent Unleashed Awards.
While the young businessman’s achievements are impressive, he measures his success in delivering impact for business and making a difference and his entrepreneurial journey from inception to now and why he is doing it is inspiring.
Kohen is a board member of the Entrepreneur’s Organisation (EO), an advisory board member for the ECU School of Business and Law and is committed to building at least one new school in developing countries with the highest need every year.
